What is NoTouch Desktop?
NoTouch Desktop is the easiest to use software PC and thin client re-purposing solution in the world. NoTouch Desktop is completely hardware and vendor agnostic and fits into every existing environment. The product consists of NoTouch Receiver, this thin client OS unifies a company’s infrastructure by replacing or running on top of Windows or any legacy thin client operating system thus providing instant connectivity to all major server-based VDI and terminal services. NoTouch Center is the central administration tool for all these devices. It is a feature-rich, web based management console, which provides client configuration attributes, automated client updates, asset management and client security features.
Does NoTouch Desktop fit in my environment?
Yes. NoTouch Desktop is designed to be the bridge between any endpoint/desktop hardware and any server-side technology. With NoTouch Desktop you do not only have connectivity to one product or one protocol like so many other solutions. Instead, Citrix, VMware, Web and connectivity to a variety of other products is builtin.
What options do I have to install NoTouch Receiver on my hardware?
It has never been easier to re-purpose PCs and manage your thin client network – even end users with little computer knowledge could do it! NoTouch Receiver can be installed in a few different ways: Either live-boot from a USB thumb drive, install on hard drive or flash drive or PXE-boot it via a network server.
How do I manage my client network?
NoTouch Center is an innovative, browser based management tool, carefully designed to meet the needs of a virtual desktop network. It comes with many intelligent features and has pre-adjusted management options for different VDI and terminal services, which our customers typically require or find useful. Also included is a set of security features, one of which provides for the shut down of USB ports, while still enabling continued functionality to other designated unique USB devices. Additionally, integrated into NoTouch Center is an asset management inventory database. NoTouch Center makes for a rapid automated roll-out of NoTouch Receiver, thus simplifying an administrators workload and giving them a great network view and enhanced client security!

Why is Stratodesk different from other vendors and solutions?
Stratodesk is disrupting the classical thin client market! All thin client manufacturers have similar hardware. Their most differentiated feature is their client OS. Whereas thin client manufacturers may also offer limited re-purposing software, they focus primarily in selling hardware. So their embedded software is designed to lock enterprises into only their solution. They provide no provision or product consideration for a mixed heterogeneous network of various vendors’ hardware clients!

The NoTouch Receiver footprint is only 120MB in size and yet enables a huge number of connection possibilities. This small footprint and its ability to install and run on PCs and thin clients purchased years ago distinguish Stratodesk and its unique design apart from all competitors.
The easy to use fast boot re-purposing process is another feature embraced by NoTouch network administrators. The installer software will guide you through this process, which normally does not take more than 90 seconds, depending on the characteristics of the device to be re-purposed.
Our innovative inheritance mechanism of settings is another feature of NoTouch Center that sets Stratodesk apart from the legacy client vendors. No longer is manual image cloning for each individual client required. To deploy the NoTouch Receiver images to new clients just add a new client to a selected group or subgroup and it inherits the group’s image characteristics automatically.
The asset management capabilities and other security features make NoTouch Center the essential tool for production mission critical VDI environments.
How good is the performance of NoTouch Desktop, especially if I use older hardware?
NoTouch Desktop is a very small client OS that allows enterprises to rapidly (less than 90 seconds) install a new powerful OS and economically migrate old PCs to new VDI services from VMware with ease. When end users are introduced to their new VDI client implementation they are amazed with the faster application performance and client responsiveness.
Whereas thin clients are typically slow and stripped down devices NoTouch Desktop can take advantage of all capabilities of the underlying hardware. Even an older PC can be faster than a new and expensive thin client device.
Image and management data exchange have been engineered for performance in updating and configuration. Even full image updates are easy to distribute, as they are typically about 120MB (less than the size of a few pictures taken with a contemporary consumer camera)
What’s my value for money?
Stratodesk’s NoTouch gives enterprises the capability to re-purpose easily, quickly and most of all economically their current PCs and thin clients.
