This blog is a relatively short one this time round, but we still wanted to let you know about our continuing relationship with EPOS Audio. This is particularly important as the increase for unified communication solutions like Microsoft Teams, Zoom & Cisco Webex Teams continues to grow.
On February 8, EPOS released a new version of EPOS Connect for Stratodesk NoTouch client, version 7.4.37727 which can be downloaded directly from your EPOS Manager portal as shown in the example below.
This new update brings support for a number of audio devices but now includes support for the EXPAND Vision1 webcam. It is the first time webcam support has been added to EPOS Connect for Stratodesk NoTouch in addition to the existing support for their broad range of USB headsets & meeting room speaker systems.

Once the endpoints have been updated with the new version of EPOS Connect for Stratodesk NoTouch, then the new EXPAND Vision1 webcams should appear active as shown below.
In our case, a new firmware update was available, so this was deployed to the endpoint after a reboot.
During the official release, notes state the supported operating systems include NoTouch OS version 3.3.342d & 3.4.95, we tested this with NoTouch OS version 3.4.407 GA and it worked as expected.
