Before some of our biggest fall events are underway (like EDUCAUSE and .NEXT 2019), we’d like to take a look back at some of the things that happened over the last month. In this article we highlight Stratodesk news and industry trends, like our Velma Lakes EAR and the recently announced general availability of Windows Virtual Desktop.
VMworld 2019 was a big show for us. Team members from all over the states and even the UK joined us in San Francisco. There we met with present and future customers to show them how Stratodesk software is changing the game for end user computing. We invited you to become a part of the big discussion – what will we innovate and disrupt next?
Shortly before the show, we also announced our partnership with Liquidware. You can read more about that on our blog.
Earl September, we announced a major new release. Regarding Velma Lakes, Stratodesk Founder and CEO, Emanuel Pirker, had this to say: “With NoTouch Center 4.3, Velma Lakes, we bring many improvements, drawing from our multi-platform experience while fulfilling numerous customer feature requests. Take the new update/OS image selection, for example. It has never been easier to update a diverse fleet of endpoints.”
Velma Lakes is available now for existing customers in early access release.

Stratodesk Yael SmartSoft Conference
Stratodesk took to the land of Milk and Honey for the Yael SmartSoft Conference in Tel Aviv, Israel. During the show, we presented alongside our partners, Imprivata, BeyondTrust, and Pcysys.
Our presentation focused on how Stratodesk allows customers to get the most out of their VDI environment by foregoing Windows and instead allowing them to use a powerful, Linux based solution. Not only does NoTouch OS prevent against third party applications it also allows system administrators and IT managers to manage all of their endpoints from one central location.
That’s it for this wrap-up. While much more happened last month than we can showcase here, you can stay up to date with us by following us on social media, or by subscribing to our newsletter. Until next time!
