Stratodesk Expands EMEA Sales Team, Welcomes Two New Top Sales Leaders

New Sales Managers Strengthen Presence in the UK and in Northern Europe to Better Meet Rising Customer Demand

Klagenfurt, Austria, June 2, 2023Stratodesk, the pioneer of secure managed endpoints for modern workspaces, is pleased to announce the expansion of its sales team in EMEA. The company has recently hired two knowledgeable leaders in the United Kingdom and in the Nordic and Baltic Countries to further strengthen its presence and drive business growth in these key markets.
Stratodesk was founded more than ten years ago in Austria with the commitment to delivering superior endpoint solutions and providing businesses throughout Europe with a much stronger presence in the German-speaking market. The recent addition of highly skilled sales managers will enhance the company’s ability to provide tailored solutions and exceptional support to organizations in the UK and Northern Europe and meet the evolving needs of existing and future customers and partners.

Two new hires bring extensive experience to the Stratodesk team:

Ian Platt, Regional Sales Manager in the United Kingdom, has over 15 years within the End User Computing (EUC) marketplace. Previously Ian helped launch a new entrant into Europe’s growing remote access marketplace and established it as a leading vendor, as recognized by several leading analyst companies. Over the years, Ian has played a key role in the launch of several successful start-ups within the EUC space across the UK and European territories and has held senior roles in sales, marketing, and management. Ian holds degrees in engineering (B. Eng) and management (MBA).

Päivi Nuora, Regional Sales Manager and Sustainability Lead for the Nordics and Baltics worked for more than 20 years in the development of modern work in both the public and private sectors. Prior to this, Päivi spent over 5 years at Citrix as a Corporate Account Manager, where she was recognized for supporting global companies and the healthcare sector in transiting to secured hybrid work. Over the past two decades, she has gained expertise in product and solution development and sales in several companies in the IT sector.

Stratodesk’s CEO, Emanuel Pirker, commented, “We are delighted to be expanding our European sales team, which follows the success of our rapid sales team expansion in the US. We believe establishing this larger European presence will enable us to serve our clients better, expand our regional reach, and continue our rapid growth trajectory.”

“The addition of these talented sales leaders represents an important step forward for Stratodesk in the EMEA region,” said Harald Wittek, General Manager at Stratodesk EMEA. “Their expertise and industry knowledge will strengthen our ability to deliver innovative endpoint management solutions to our customers and support our partners in achieving their business objectives.”

Stratodesk promotes its designation as a golden-rule company and is focused on maintaining a culture of honesty, integrity, and kindness, and a commitment to operating ethically with respect for people, the community, and the environment.
