Origins of the Stratodesk/iQor Relationship
Our successful relationship can be traced back to about 4 years ago. iQor was originally drawn to Stratodesk due to the fact that Stratodesk is a software only solution. Unlike other solutions that wall you into using hardware with the software, Stratodesk is fully hardware agnostic, working on any device – x86 or ARM. The reason for this – iQor had existing devices they wanted to convert into Thin Clients using Stratodesk. By using Stratodesk PC Conversion, iQor saved millions of dollars that would have gone towards capital investments in hardware.
Easy Deployment Made Stratodesk the Perfect Fit for the BPO Leader
In addition to the software only aspect, and its ability to convert devices at scale, iQor needed Stratodesk’s endpoint configuration and management capabilities to quickly meet the demands placed on the corporation via the pandemic. Originally, iQor had only a small, dedicated work from home base of users. With the pandemic, however, they quickly had to shift a small pool of home devices running on Stratodesk to well over 20,000 inn one to two weeks.
iQor Leveraged Stratodesk NoTouch Cloud to Manage Endpoints at Scale
The beauty of using Stratodesk is that you don’t have to make compromises. iQor loves the ability to leverage Stratodesk to manage their hybrid on premises/cloud deployment from on central management console – NoTouch Center. iQor leveraged NoTouch Cloud to scale the solution and move devices into its internal NoTouch Center. That allowed them to free themselves from on premises performance dependencies using the AWS model. The end result: iQor could scale its controller as it added 10k devices.
Using Stratodesk enabled iQor to manage both internal and external devices from the same controller. An added bonus of this is that devices anywhere in the world are now manageable via Stratodesk.
iQor Takes Advantage of the Complete Imprivata Integration Included in Stratodesk Software
iQor also takes advantage of the Imprivata integration in Stratodesk software – one of the most complete integrations on the market! Due to Imprivata’s biometric security capacities, it was important to iQor that Stratodesk had a tight integration with it as well. Thanks to the powerful integration, iQor was able to add important security aspects to their deployment. Although Imprivata is healthcare based, it has truly done the job for iQor.
