The Role
We are seeking a software engineer to aid in the development of our flagship product. The right candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing while prioritizing tasks, and able to work independently in a tight-knit but globally distributed team. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to not only be hands-on and actively leverage their advanced skills to maintain and extend our custom Linux distribution but they will also be excited about the opportunity to supervise the entire development process, from inception to release.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain features for our OS software solutions, x86/x64, and ARM system programming
- Optimize Raspberry Pi and embedded platforms
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 DevOps support
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required.
- Knowledge of Linux/embedded Linux (Linux drivers, kernel thread, kernel
modules), embedded system, operating system, device drivers, ARM, hardware/software integration - Take ownership, be self-sufficient
- Not afraid of digging into new things
Location: San Francisco, CA (Full-Time Position)
Salary $122,000 per year
